The Game of Thrones franchise is taking over the world and after it was announced that key filming locations would become tourist attractions, HBO have teamed up with whisky label Johnnie Walker for a line of single malt liqueurs.
The first of a supposed eight variations the collaboration has unveiled the first whisky, “White Walker”. Created by “Whiskey Specialist”, George Harper and a handful of experts from the company, the team have formulated a unique blend for the GoT fan and whiskey lovers alike. The new collaborative product is said to carry notes of caramelised sugar, vanilla, orchard fruit and red berries. White Walker was crafted using single malts from Clynelish and Cardhu, and is intended to be consumed ice cold, fresh from the freezer.
On sale now, the bottle retails for $36 USD. Next month, it is expected that an additional seven blends will be released under the partnership. Stay tuned for more info.
