Late last month, Kim Kardashian-West published a cryptic tweet of what was presumed to be a track list and release date for Kanye West’s forthcoming album. While hype was certainly stirring, doubt remained in the minds of fans as West is known to change his mind – are we not still waiting on YANDHI? Nevertheless, after a slew of changes new tunes are confirmed to be on the way.

During an appearance in Batesville, Indiana, West took the stage to confirm the release date of his new project. A fellow singer/songwriter, Victory Boyd who is signed to Roc Nation posted to her Instagram which depicted the rapper saying,“Jesus Is King is out September 27th, so let’s continue this…”

According to Kim’s earlier post, songs that will appear on the album includes “God Is,” “Baptized,” “Sunday,” and “Sweet Jesus.” It is expected that the new tracks will be based upon sounds from West’s highly-publicised Sunday Service.

Mark your calendars for September 27, this is going to be good.
