For much of the day everyone has been asking, “Where is Kanye West?”. Well, we’ve found the man er, on social media as he stepped out to attend the polls. Posting to Twitter, the rapper-cum-designer-cum-apparent politician voted for the first time today and despite many struggles to get his name on the ballot in all states – just 12 states list him as an official candidate – it didn’t stop him from writing his name down.

On Twitter, West posted a photo of himself at the polling booths before sharing a video of his ballot where he simply wrote his name on the ‘Write In’ line followed by “Michelle Tidball”.

“Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust … me,” he wrote.

Kanye West announced he would run for president in July. It caused backlash from many after it was speculated he would pull votes away from Joe Biden for a Donald Trump win. His campaign arrived with several manic bipolar episodes in addition, which caused tension between his family and wife, Kim Kardashian.

West was seen celebrating Kim Kardashian’s 40th birthday last week at a private island.

“On a good day, Kanye seems to have forgotten that he is even running for President. But on a bad day, things are not good,” a source exclusively told OK!. “Kim is bracing for Kanye to be triggered by all the press coverage on Biden and Trump that doesn’t even mention him on Tuesday night. The plan was to get Kanye as far away as possible from what is going on, that is why she threw herself a birthday party on the exclusive island, known locally as Tetiaroa Atoll.

“Kanye does not handle losing well, and this humiliating defeat isn’t not going to be pretty. However, the biggest nightmare for the family is if Trump wins and it looks like Kanye helped him get him into The White House again by pulling votes from Biden as a third-party candidate. If America thinks this week is going to be tense, think about what is going on in the Kardashian/West household!” the insider adds.

Due to the Electoral College, it is impossible for Kanye West to win the election. We will wait for the Twitter aftermath here.
