Ah, Kanye, you’ve done it again and I don’t know whether to clap, bow down or rage. After it was confirmed that Kanye West would drop his Jesus Is King album last week, the Yeezy founder delayed its release indefinitely, though not surprisingly. Now, the long-awaited YANDHI album has arrived, but not as we had ever expected. The rumoured project has been circling for sometime now and out of the blue, ‘Ye has launched the tracks a ringtones.

Yes, you read that correctly. Discovered by keen-eyed Reddit users overnight, even though the YANDHI project was reportedly axed earlier this year, it has surfaced as on the Apple iTunes Store as a series of ringtones for $1.29 USD each.

Since initial reporting, it has been speculated that the short 26-second clips were in fact leaks of the original pieces and are unfortunately unofficial. The tracks were listed under ENZO Label as the copyright holder, an unknown entity that isn’t associated with Def Jam Music Group or Roc Nation Records.

While its incredibly anti-climactic, it was a look what could have been. Nevertheless, there is still new music to be expected – that is if West finally stops “tweaking” his forthcoming album and just releases it.

Check back for when that happens.
