Everything
If, like us, you found yourself wanting to relive the magic that exuded from the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2023 menswear collection that took place in Paris earlier this year, you’re in luck. This Friday, at 7:30pm (5:30pm China time), the French maison is giving the world an encore performance on the Aranya Gold Coast – a coastal community stretching over five kilometres of beaches in Beidaihe, China.

This “spin-off” show, as the house has dubbed it, will expand on the playground concept first seen in Paris back in June and will include 10 unseen looks that will find their debut in Aranya.
The choice of location speaks to the ongoing influence of the late Virgil Abloh’s passion for celebrating culture within creativity. Located two hours away from Beijing by train, Aranya (a Sanskrit word which means “a silent and peaceful place away from clamour and crowd”) is home to several cultural spaces and site specific works of art including a pristine white seaside chapel and the “Lonely Library”.
This marks the second “spin-off” show that Louis Vuitton has hosted. The first was last September, when the 2022 Spring Womenswear collection by Nicolas Ghesquière was taken to Shanghai after the Paris show, with an additional 21 looks to reveal to the China market.
