If anyone knows how to make a sell-out collab, it is none other than Virgil Abloh and the Off-White brand. Following the rousing success of an Australia-exclusive capsule in August 2019, the streetwear label has returned for more coveted looks. All thanks to MARAIS, the luxury retailer who brought the Off-White brand to local shores in 2017.

Designed in Milan, Italy, the unisex capsule comprises of a number of kit essentials made available in black or white and adorned in a colourful splatter – a fresh take on tie-dye perhaps? The collection has been designed with a new-age sensibility and features a t-shirt, hoodie, denim jacket, denim shirts and pants.

In true Off-White form, each piece is branded with an iconic “Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh TM Off – White Australia 2020” print on the bottom left of each piece.

Off-White has been not-so-quietly paving out its empire around the globe due to its cult styles and hyped collaborations. In 2019, lines snaked around the entire IKEA building in Sydney’s Tempe in anticipation for his homewares collaboration to release. Virgil Abloh’s ‘The Ten’ partnership with Nike was also considered one of the biggest collaborations of the decade with continual sell-out styles. A pair of Nike Air Vapormax Off-White 2018 sneakers are going for nearly $1,000 AUD a pop on StockX.

As for this current capsule, the limited edition styles are available for purchase exclusively in the Off – White Melbourne and Sydney boutiques. The first 200 customers will be eligible on the day of release to receive a one-off, limited edition Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh x MARAIS tote bag with any collection purchase.
