Ahead of its drop into cinemas later next month, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the final trailer to the highly anticipated film, “Aquaman“. Released overnight, we now have a full look at Jason Momoa’s starring character and the original story that surrounds the supernatural tale.
Working on the likes of Fast and Furious 7, The Conjuring and Annabelle the film is headed by Australian film director James Wan and with his extensive experience in special effects, this next film is a culmination of stunning graphics. According to the synopsis: “The film reveals the original story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.”
Adding extra context to the first trailer, we see Aquaman’s birth, upbringing and the moments before the biggest battle of his life. Combining the classic hero tale with lighthearted humour, the film will also star Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman and Patrick Wilson among other Hollywood A-listers.
Warner Bros. will roll out the film into cinemas across the globe from December 21. Tune into the trailer below for a final look before it hits the big screen.
