Sporting giants and luxury fashion houses are teaming up in droves. Just months ago, Dior tapped the Jumpman brand and Travis Scott for a luxurious take on the Air Jordan 1 OG. And before that, adidas Originals dropped a collaborative Adidas Superstar sneaker and bag with Prada. Now, the latter partnership is back with the second collection of ‘PRADA FOR ADIDAS’.

As revealed in fresh imagery, the second and forthcoming drop features a trio of colourways, all emblazoned on the classic sneaker silhouette. Made available in ‘Black,’ ‘White/Black’ and ‘Chrome Silver/White’, the collaborative styles will once again be hand crafted by Prada footwear specialists. Made in Italy, the shoes are constructed of full-grain leather heat-stamped with “PRADA” and underscored by “MADE IN ITALY”. The iconic three stripes can still be seen at the midfoot, while cobranding is emblazoned on the tongue.

The collaborative effort will retail for $500 USD and set to be released on September 8 via the adidas website. But with any luxury partnership, we can’t see the kicks lasting long on virtual shelves. The first collection which featured all-white Superstar sneakers and a leather bowling bag are hot property on resale websites. On StockX, the sneakers along will set you back $1,900 AUD at a minimum and the bowling bag reselling for $1,090 AUD at the lowest asking price.
