The state of Donald Trump‘s Walk of Fame Star lies in shambles. (Twice) taken to with an axe and the remainder covered in graffiti, it is clear to see what the people of Los Angeles think of the US president – and it is not pretty. Now, the West Hollywood City Council has taken a unanimous vote to have what’s left of his star removed.

Taking their fight to the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the council is urging for the approval to completely remove the star because of the former reality show stalwart’s “disturbing treatment of women”.

“The City Council will consider adopting a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Donald J. Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country”, the item read.

In a statement, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce CEO Leon Gubler told the Hollywood Reporter: “The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”

The same council moved to have Bill Crosby’s star removed three years ago, following several counts of sexual harassment accusations brought against him. They were never successful.
