Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr aka Snoop Dogg is perhaps the most prolific rapper in the hip-hop community and at 47 years-old, he boasts 20-plus years of chart-topping success. Earlier this year, the ‘Young, Wild & Free’ artist was honoured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and his speech has ultimately gone down in history. With the likes of Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, Quincy Jones, and Jimmy Kimmel in attendance, his acceptance speech was in true Dogg style.

“I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for having no days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting. I wanna thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I wanna thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I wanna thank me for being me at all times, Snoop Dogg you a bad motherf**ker,” he announced.

Following the epic speech, the rapper released his 17th studio album in July aptly dubbed ‘I Wanna Thank Me’. Naturally it’s a ‘bop’ and now he has continued his streak with a new documentary. Titled with the same name, the Doggfather has remembered his own high-flying legacy with a two-part, 40-minute docco featuring an array of old interviews, behind-the-scene videos and music clips.
