2020 may have put our plans on hold but one thing it hasn’t been able to take away is this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards. For the first time in the ceremony’s history, the Emmys will go digital, streaming live through various platforms.
With nominations announced on July 28, it came as no surprise that HBO’s Watchmen is up for the most awards, 26 to be exact. Netflix Originals are trailing closely behind with Hollywood and Ozark, and Apple TV+ hit, The Morning Show, has nominations across a number of categories including Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series.
