It would seem that 2022 has been a pretty busy year for American rap sensation Anderson .Paak. When the Grammy award-winning artist isn’t making records or touring globally, he’s either performing with Bruno Mars as part of ‘Silk Sonic’, spinning vinyl as DJ Pee .Wee, or collaborating with global sneaker brand Vans on his own limited-edition collection release.
That’s right, Anderson .Paak has just launched his own collection of footwear, apparel and accessories with Vans, in a collection he calls ‘Vanderson’ that has been two years in the making. The collection is inspired by the artist’s heritage and community, and the campaign even includes cameos from his son, sister, nieces, and nephew.
The ‘Vanderson’ Collection features staple Vans footwear styles that you know and love, designed with an Anderson .Paak twist. At the helm is the collection’s signature sneaker, the EPaak Sport, which blends classic “Off The Wall” style with a muted, custom paisley print. There’s also a pair of the Old Skool 36 and Authentic sneaker styles, with the latter adorning a bright orange-hued paisley print and the former enveloped in green corduroy with a portrait of Anderson .Paak himself embellished on the sneaker’s tongue.
It’s a bright, summer-ready collection that you’re going to want to have in your sneaker repertoire, one way or another. For clothing, you can expect to find a range of t-shirts, trousers and jackets that have been produced in shades of sandy tie-dye and paisley.
