With the innovation of technology moving at a rapid speed, it is hard to believe that producing professional-looking photography can only involve whipping out your smartphone. That is the aim for Apple, and to celebrate the creativity of its users, the Californian-based company commissioned the ‘Shot on iPhone’ competition.

In January, Apple kicked off the year by asking its customers to submit photographs purely taken on the iPhone and after being reviewed by a panel of judges, 10 winners were announced. Hailing from countries including Singapore, Germany, Belarus, Israel and the US, the results are spectacular, highlighting the unique landscape we are surrounded by.

From urban jungles to the breathtaking wilderness, the images were taken on everything from the older iPhone 7 to the brand new iPhone Xs Max.
