In the ever-evolving world of luxury fashion, Christian Dior has consistently pushed the boundaries, setting new standards of sophistication and style. Kim Jones,  creative director of Dior menswear, is at the forefront of this transformation, and his latest creation, the B57 sneakers, seamlessly weave house codes into a classic, 1980s inspired sneaker.

The B57 sneakers are the spiritual successors to the wildly popular B27 model from 2020.  The infusion of ’80s basketball shoe DNA results in a more sports-oriented aesthetic. This melange of elegance and athleticism is a hallmark of Jones’s innovative approach to fashion.

Each pair of B57 sneakers is meticulously crafted from premium calfskin leather, exemplifying Dior’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Intricate stitching details run across the overlays, subtly alluding to the house’s illustrious tailoring heritage. But it’s not just about aesthetics; practicality also takes centre stage. A series of perforations, thoughtfully placed horizontally across the toe box, provides essential ventilation, ensuring both style and comfort.

Dior has left no stone unturned in the pursuit of perfection. To ensure unparalleled support and comfort, the Parisian house has developed a brand new heel counter from scratch, exemplifying their dedication to innovation. This feature not only enhances the sneaker’s fit but also adds a unique touch to its design.

As a testament to Dior’s commitment to evolving design, the B57 sneakers are adorned with intricate jacquard “CD” initials. This design first made its appearance in the B30 silhouette earlier this year, signifying Dior’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of fashion.

The drop comes in six different colourways, including Dior signature grey as well as navy, black and white and several beiege based varietals. You can grab a pair of the Dior B57 online from October 10. Stock will also hit select stores from October 19.
