Rounding out the fourth film for the highly successful Avengers franchise, Avengers: Endgame is the most anticipated film release of 2019. Set to drop into cinema from May 3, Marvel Studios revealed a second look at the hyped film this week during the Super Bowl. While fans thought it couldn’t get any better than this, Disney Australia also published the official synopsis to the fourth instalment- or so we thought.
Repainting a picture of the final moment of Infinity War, the plot confirmed that the remaining superheroes would attempt to undo Thanos’ destruction.
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
While fans begun to share theories across the internet, ScreenRant has in fact confirmed with Disney International that this is not the official synopsis. The Australian sub-division has already taken the plot down from its website, but regardless, it may be a good indication as to what is to come.
