Mere minutes ago, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that he and first lady, Melania Trump have contracted coronavirus. “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER,” he posted to 86.4 million Twitter followers.

It comes after Trump faced off against fellow election candidate Joe Biden at the first Presidential debate.
Donald Trump is not the first leader or high-profile person to test positive to COVID-19. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson contracted the virus on March 27, while Prince Charles also tested positive.
It is believed Biden will need to be tested and put into quarantine due to close contact. The pair did not shake hands at the debate. Trump has long been a believer that COVID-19 is a hoax.
