It is no secret that Kanye West and Elon Musk are supporters of one another. It seemingly began on the internet during 2018 and they have been allies ever since.
This week, Kanye West went on an announcing crusade teasing and releasing news of a collaboration with Gap as well as his next album God is Country where he dropped the new track ‘Wash Us in the Blood’. Now, fans are on the look out for any teasers of a project and a new Twitter post from ‘Ye could be exactly that – or at least the internet is hoping.
Overnight, a photo showing Elon Musk and Kanye West standing side by side was shared to the worldwide internet, accompanied by the caption, “When you go to your boys house and you’re both wearing orange.” It’s not a lot to go by, but who knows? Could we be eyeing down the barrel of a Tesla x Yeezy collaboration, or perhaps the new soundtrack to Musk’s outer-space film venture with Tom Cruise.

Speaking on the panel at SXSW in March, 2018, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO revealed he was inspired by West and before that he mentioned the rapper in a blurb for TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2015.
“Kanye does think. Constantly. About everything. And he wants everybody else to do the same: to engage, question, push boundaries. Now that he’s a pop-culture juggernaut, he has the platform to achieve just that. He’s not afraid of being judged or ridiculed in the process. Kanye’s been playing the long game all along, and we’re only just beginning to see why,” Musk said at the conference.

West of course has returned the favour in the past, and during a visit to Detroit art school, CCS, told students to leave Musk alone in the midst of fraud allegations.
Stay tuned for any further developments.
