Here are all the new movies and TV series coming to Amazon Prime Video this October, including our favourites to watch.
The Northman
The Northman is the work of renowned director Robert Eggers (The Witch; The Lighthouse), who has assembled a stellar cast in Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe to tell this epic historical thriller about a Viking pirnce who sets out on a quest for revenge after his father was brutally murdered. Whilst a work of fiction, the film is heavily inspired by Norse mythology, and is based on the legend of Amleth.
Ambulance
Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen star is Michael Bay’s drama Ambulance, a story about two half-brothers who team up to steal $32 million from a Los Angeles bank. When their hesits goes awry, they hijack an ambulance to escape. Only, they are travelling with two hostages, one a severely wounded cop and an EMT worker. The film follows the brothers as they engage in a high-speed chase as they try to outrun the law while keeping their hostages safe.
Mark Hunt: The Fight of His Life
Mark Hunt changed the sport of martial arts forever. This documentary highlights how Mark Hunt pushed past his challenging childhood of abuse and violence to become onbe of the most feared names in kickboxing and mixed martial arts.
