Just hours ago, Marvel Studios released the first trailer for origin film “Captain Marvel”, giving fans a first look at Brie Larson as Carol Danvers a.k.a Captain Marvel. Also starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, the production company is on a roll as it unveiled its latest project, following the likes of Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Antman.
Set in the 1990’s, the trailer reveals the origin story of Carol Danvers as she finds herself caught between Earth and a galactic war between aliens called the Skrulls and the Kree. The only problem is, Carol is suffering from memory loss and is unsure of her role or how she came to be on Earth.
The trailer shows further scenes of her former life – streamlining the origin backstory – as well as Captain Marvel receiving her powers, a mysterious new villain, and even taking to an old lady… we assume a shapeshifter?
