As her husband Prince Harry plans to head back to London to heal his relationship with his father, King Charles III, Meghan Markle seems to be planning her own return back to the spotlight of public life.

The Duchess of Sussex has been keeping relatively low since the family – Harry, Archie and Lilibet – permanently relocated to California. Understandable, considering the intense scrutiny that the family experienced while in England with media criticising Markle, 42, for everything from eating avocados to being accused of “smirking”.

Both Markle and Harry had made the break away after announcing they wanted to step back from royal duties, initially considering moving to Canada. But the family eventually settled on California, where they have been based since with Harry occasionally returning the his homeland of the UK including the death of his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

But Markle remained in the US, with the children. Now it seems as though the former actress is ready to get back in front of the cameras. Starting small, mind you. Markle made a happy cameo in the post of her friend, hair stylist Kadi Lee.

But hints that the Suits star is preparing for something more official comes with the alleged launch of her own social media account, separate to the official Duke and Duchess of Sussex one. The account, @meghan, currently remains private but has already clocked up over 75 thousand followers.

According to Page Six, Markle has spent the summer planning a revival of her public career with suggestions that it will sit within the wellness space.

But the relaunch might not be as easy as she would hope, following several misfires including a Podcast that was axed before it got off the ground and the accusation that she and Prince Harry were “f***ing grifters” by on executive at Spotify.

Kicking off this new chapter, the Duchess is scheduled to be in Germany next month alongside her husband Harry for the Invictus Games which he is a patron of.

A source close to the Spotify saga summed it up as: Meghan Markle simply “likes being famous”. Prince Harry has made it clear that he would prefer to be as far away from the limelight as possible so how he takes his wife’s relaunch remains to be seen.

One thing is for sure, the world will no doubt be watching very closely.
