Back in March of this year, LA based artist Steven Harrington released a collectable ‘Gotcha’ sculpture, in collaboration with ToyQube. Now, the famous character will get a large-scale upgrade in his newest exhibition, set in China‘s IFS Changsha Skyscraper.

The figure, which will stand several metres high depicts the iconic cartoon palm tree, wrapped around a dog named ‘Mello. Accompanying the figure will be a line of Harrington’s latest paintings, transforming the space into a seaside amusement park as well as a garden of oversized sculptures. The exhibition will also include videos, explaining the back story of the artists first solo exhibition in China, with the opportunity to speak to Harrington himself.

Other than its light-hearted fun, the IFS Changsha will also sell limited-edition figurines, produced in collaboration with the artist. The exhibition is now open to visitors.
