The Spring Summer 2023 men’s shows at Milan Fashion Week are once again about to begin and Prada is inviting you to watch it live from Milan this Sunday, June 19 at 10pm AEST (2pm CEST). The latest collection will continue the conversation and collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons back in 2020.
Since the announcement, the balance between the the vision of both designers has been a work in progress. Exciting to watch unfold, seeing Simons’ signature motifs interpreted in the Prada DNA and vice versa, the first few collections were defined by a clear boundary between the two. But both Simons and Sig.ra Prada seem be finding their groove, with their most recent shows a reflection on the details that defined them both, the clothes being a fluid fusion of their respective vision.
This has most recently been through the concept of redefining the look of workwear – utility in clothing but broadening this category so that it encompasses work from the perspective of its physicality and the urban living experience.
