1960’s rock band The Beatles is without a doubt one of the most recognised music groups in the world. Behind the likes of ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Let It Be’ and ‘Yesterday’ the latest musical biopic to hit cinemas imagines a world without them, and without their music. Hooked yet? We certainly are.

From Academy Award®-winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) comes ‘Yesterday’, following the humorous and unique story of a struggling musician, Jack (played by newcomer Himesh Patel), as he is hit by a car during a world-wide power outage. After waking up, he is the only one who remembers The Beatles and using this to his advantage, the singer/songwriter claims the iconic music book as his own. Thrust into the limelight and inner circle of fame, things start to take a turn for the worst.

Including A-list cameos from the likes James Cordon and Ed Sheeran, as well as a cast lead by Kate McKinnon and Lily James, the official trailer has been released.

Slated to drop from June 28, watch the teaser below.
