In the long list of strange celebrity products, a line of Drake scented candles has to be right near the top. Drizzy is no stranger to wearing his heart on his sleeve, but now he’s pouring his emotions into perfume. Do you want to smell like Drake’s tears? Yes, yes, you do.

After teasing the market since last year, the four-time Grammy award winner confirmed over the weekend that his scented candle line, Better World Fragrance House, was finally on the way.

“A true passion project and the start of something special,” teased Drake to the delight of his millions of followers.

It was no coincidence that Drake chose to reveal his scented candles on Mother’s Day, the range of perfumes making the ideal gift for the special lady in your life.

According to the Better World Fragrance House website, the initial range will include four scented candles, including (hilariously) one candle that smells like Drizzy.

Among the scents featured in the collection are Carby Musk, Williamsburg Sleepover, Sweeter Tings, Good Thoughts and Muskoka. Carby Musk is the future bestseller that is said to include the essence of Drake and is made from a soy blend that contains notes of musk, amber, cashmere, suede and velvet.

To help make his scented candle dream a reality, Drake teamed up with perfumer Michael Carby to create the line.

While us plebs are only getting our hands on Drake’s candles now, early prototype types were sent out to a lucky few – including Drake’s favourite NBA team, the Toronto Raptors. The burners seemed to test well with the ballers, so fingers crossed we’re in for a delightful surprise when our candles arrive.

Each candle in the collection retails for $48 (makes cents to make scents!) and can be purchased on the Better World Fragrance House website.
