The year is ending on an absolute banger of a high with one of the worst humans to live and breathe Andrew Tate arrested in Romania after a failed attempt at starting a Twitter beef with 19-year-old activist Greta Thunberg. All because of a pizza box.

Let’s go back to the beginning…

In one of the lamest attempts at an online flex, Tate took to Twitter to goad Thunberg with a boast about the number of cars he has locked away in his garage and asked for email so he could send her the full list and total emissions made. Lame because a) who attempts to fight with 19-year-olds on Twitter; c) what 36-year-old openly asks for a 19-year-olds email* and b) what person anywhere is impressed by this kind small-dick energy statement.

So Thunberg responded in kind. “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at [email protected]

It took Tate 10 hours to reply with a several minute long video that ultimately ended up sounding like “I know you are but what am I”. But in that video was his own downfall. A pizza box. Specifically a pizza box from a company in Romania where Tate and his brother are both wanted for questioning regarding human trafficking and rape allegations.

According to Variety, Tate and his brother are being investigated for “recruiting and exploiting women for the creation of pornographic clips, which they would distribute via sites like OnlyFans for a profit.”

Back in April this year, Romanian authorities found two women – one with US citizenship – in a villa in In April, Romanian authorities found two young women (one of whom has American citizenship) in a villa in Voluntari where they said they were being held by force by Andrew Tate and his brother. The Tates were questioned and released but investigations continued.

Romanian authorities had struggled to pin down the brothers as they were, according to reports, unable to verify when they were in the country. Until now. Until Andrew Tate’s video. With the pizza box.

Andrew Tate had previously been banned from Twitter prior to Elon Musk’s purchase of the platform. It seems that, along with every other hate speech hosting account and known offenders, Musk reinstated Tate’s account.

The icing on the entire cake – or extra cheese on the pizza if you will – is that the name of experts who have been urging Romanian investigators to take action against human trafficking is called GRETA.

For her part, Greta Thunberg’s Tweet is also becoming one of the most liked in history, cracking the top 30 in 24 hours with 2.7 million likes and counting.
