In 2009, Kim Kardashian told Wendy Williams her rationale for never getting a tattoo: “Honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?”
Fast forward a decade and it appears that the reality star has changed her tune around body art, revealing in a recent episode of The Kardashians that she’s been concealing ink for over a year. While sitting in a glam session with her go-to hair stylist, Chris Appleton, the 43-year-old revealed that she went under the tattoo gun following her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in 2021.

When discussing the plans for Appleton’s recent Las Vegas nuptials with The White Lotus star Lukas Gage, Kardashian spoke about the possibility of going to a tattoo parlour after the ceremony. “You guys, something you don’t know about me,” the SKIMS founder said, turning to the camera to put the secret ink on display.
So, what proverbial bumper sticker did the billionaire put on her “Bentley”? An infinity symbol on the inside of her lip.
Kardashian pulled down her plump pout to show the ink off to the camera. “The night of SNL, the night I hosted SNL, me and all my friends got matching tattoos,” she explained. “Everyone got ‘em [the tattoos] on their hands and I was like ‘There’s not a shot I will get a tattoo,’” she said of the 4:30 AM impromptu decision. “This is how you celebrate SNL!”

As per the never-before-seen footage, Kardashian—-complete in her hot pink Balenciaga catsuit—filmed herself laying on the tattoo bed screaming “Holy sh*t” as the artist permanently inked the inside of her lip.
“Oh this is nothing!” the star could be heard saying. The inner lip is notoriously one of the most painful areas to tattoo, but considering Kardashian’s experienced the turmoil of losing a $75,000 diamond earring in the ocean perhaps her pain threshold is higher than anticipated.
“I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley,” she said. One question for you, Kim: Does it count as a bumper sticker though if no one sees it?
