US artist Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS, has cemented his position as a revolutionary artist in China – literally.

In late March, KAWS took to Instagram to reveal the installation of two 26-foot tall bronze works, which sits on top of a shopping complex, Changsha, in China – and is now completed.

Featuring the original Companion and his more recent BFF Character, the sculptures were produced in collaboration with Hong Kong-based studio, AllRightsReserved (ARR). Accompanying the sculptures named, “seeing/watching”, is a large wrap around the top facade of the building showcasing Donnelly’s latest artwork.

The sculptures which are now permanent, illustrate the artists popularity in Asia and is the result of many years of work within the area.
