Making its recent debut at Milan Design Week 2018, RIMOWA Luggage and Milanese creative studio/magazine KALEIDOSCOPE joined with artist, Dozie Kanu to create a series of ‘conceptual furniture’.

After RIMOWA‘s recent collaboration with Supreme, this is another one to add to the list. The Houston artist sourced various materials including ribbed aluminium sheets, popularly found on RIMOWA’s signature luggage, to create the unconventional furnishings. The creation is shown via a short-film, installation and photo zine, enclosed in KALEIDOSCOPE’s latest issue, and will provide a deeper look in to the collaboration.

In conversation, the 25-year-old Houston native explains his personal creative process—how he mixes high and low in creations “commingling hometown symbolism with a sleek modernism,” as described by The New York Times.
