It looks like it’s been a pretty busy summer for Ryan Gosling. The Hollywood actor, who spent four years away from the big screen to focus on being a dad (*cries), is currently riding the storm of fame: his latest blockbuster, The Gray Man, is about to be released on Netflix, he just became a TAG Heuer ambassador, and the first images of his portrayal as ‘Ken’ in next year’s Barbie film sent the internet into a meltdown.

But even among the impressive Goss-filled lineup ahead of us, it’s Ryan Gosling’s fits that we’re here for.

Gucci fits, no less.

It all started with the intimate TAG Heuer x The Gray Man collaboration unveiling in the Hollywood Hills earlier this month. The actor, who was still sporting signs of his bleach-blonde Ken hair (a vibe), stepped out in a jaw-dropping Gucci ensemble akin to Don Johnson in Miami Vice. The cream-coloured shawl lapel tuxedo jacket paired effortlessly with a bright blue Hawaiian shirt and tailored charcoal suit pants. It was a serious lesson in tonal mix-matching, and all we can say is give this man’s stylist a raise (FYI, Mark Avery is the talented stylist who put together Gosling’s red carpert looks)!

It didn’t stop there. No, the tour le Gosling fits continues to this day.

A week later, Gosling attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Gray Man wearing another killer look by Gucci, this time, a seafoam notch lapel jacket with green wool trousers paired with a lemon striped button-down shirt and ivory leather lace-up shoes. This combination might give some anxiety, but not Ryan Gosling. No, the 41-year-old looked as stylish as ever in his custom Gucci number designed by Alessandro Michele specifically for the actor.

Then, there was the London premiere of The Gray Man. Surely, the Goss couldn’t back up yet another stellar fit. Wrong. A look we could only describe as ‘Barbiecore‘, the Ken-inspired getup was adorned in pastel colours. The Gucci suit featured a lilac jacket over a white button-down shirt, finished with Millennial pink trousers and white leather shoes. Brave!

The look somewhat works with Chris Evans’ pink and white-striped shirt, but Gosling gets full points simply for having the confidence to pull this off – bravo!

Finallly, the Berlin premiere. What can we say about this Michael Jackson-esque ensemble? The custom Gucci suit, again designed by Alessandro Michele, featured a striking red cashmere notch lapel jacket with a contrasting navy velvet collar, black wool trousers, beige multicolor striped shirt, black leather tie, and finished with an iconic pairing of white socks and the classic Gucci loafers.

Perhaps our least favourite of the Gosling-Gucci fits to date, it still looked exceptional on Gosling, even though he was practically blending in with the red carpet beneath him.

One of the biggest highlights that we took from the #GoslingFits is the notion of outshining Chris Evans – and even Regé-Jean Page, for that matter. When you’re the best dressed (and perhaps the best looking in the room as a result), you know you’re doing something right.

You keep doing you, Ryan. We’re here for the ride.
