Ksubi, one of Australia’s most coveted fashion labels in recent years, is world-renowned for its premium signature denim coupled with a no-fuss, street aesthetic that is worn by the likes of A$AP Rocky and Kylie Jenner (just to name a few).
Now, the denim titan is looking to re-launch its ‘Kustom’ line – a collection of mainline pieces individually ‘Kustomised’ to ensure that no two pieces are alike.
Originally created in 2018 as limited individual pieces solely designed for the who’s who (think celebrities such as LeBron James), Kustom marked Ksubi’s artisanal approach to design. It was in 2020, however, that Kustom was made available to Ksubi fans.
Now, for the first time since the coveted collection launched, Kustom will be available to purchase outside of Ksubi Channels – this includes major selected international retailers like Saks, Nieman Marcus, Kith and Browns.
“Ksubi has a long history of customising products for our artists and performers, creating exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to the artist’s style,” says Craig King, Ksubi Chief Executive Officer.
“As such, Kustom has only been available to a very exclusive group. 2022 marks the first time Kustom will be released to the public if only in an extremely limited run. Each piece is hand finished and no two pieces are the same, only being available through 18 selected stores globally plus online.”
While the limited-edition Ksubi Kustom range only features less than 100 units per style, you can expect Ksubi’s Kustom stamp of authenticity with every garment, hand-marked with its own unique number and making these unique pieces the ultimate collector’s item.
The capsule collection includes Ksubi’s signature denim jeans and jackets, as well as hoodies and t-shirts, all created with signature Ksubi techniques including embroidery, repair stitch, bleach & dye, woven patches and contrast panels that evoke an authentic DIY feel.
